ANIMA Project
Empowering inclusion through mobility
The ANIMA Project (Adapted Non-formal Methods for International Mobility Activities) is an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership dedicated to making international youth opportunities accessible to everyone.
Our mission is to support young people with disabilities in actively participating in mobility programmes, non-formal education, and international exchanges. By developing innovative and inclusive learning methods, we aim to remove barriers and create equal opportunities for all young people across Europe.
Why ANIMA?
Across Europe, many young people with disabilities still face significant challenges when accessing international mobility programmes. Physical, social, and educational barriers often prevent them from fully participating in experiences that could transform their lives.
The ANIMA project responds to this need by creating:
- inclusive non-formal learning methods
- accessible mobility opportunities
- supportive environments for participation
Our goal is to ensure that no young person is left behind.
What we do
The project brings together organisations from Hungary, Spain, and Cyprus to work collaboratively on:
- developing adapted non-formal learning tools
- training youth workers and facilitators
- organising inclusive youth exchanges
- sharing knowledge and best practices across Europe
- Through these activities, we build a strong foundation for long-term inclusion in youth work and mobility programmes.
Our impact
ANIMA aims to create meaningful change at multiple levels:
- empowering young people with disabilities with skills and confidence
- supporting youth workers with practical tools for inclusion
- raising awareness about accessibility and diversity
- contributing to a more inclusive and equitable European society
- By combining international cooperation with practical solutions, the project creates lasting impact beyond its duration.
Join the journey
We believe that diversity strengthens communities and that every young person deserves the opportunity to explore, learn, and connect across borders.
